It is not a lifeless letter that expires

The importance of the words in the Bible is to help us discern the difference between light and darkness, truth from error,and right from wrong. The truth found within this book is “living and active”written thousands of years ago....they are still completely applicable to our life in this modern world. It is the truth about life...the truth about God, and the truth about you and me. It is not a life less letter, The Bible is not just paper and ink but it is a book of God’s Words andGod’s promises---and they are a living reality.

The Word of God is alive and active within those of us who believe...as Paul declares in first Thessalonians “And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is,the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.”
