The Ushering Department

This is a paramilitary group to administer security, orderliness and protocols in all church events. They have a lot of responsibility and they are lead by a Head usher.

• ‍Functions: Welcoming members and visitors politely and directing them to their seats
• -       Cleaning, arranging the seats and decorating the auditorium before the event starts and after it ends
• -       Monitoring orderliness of people movement and conduct during church events
• -       Collection of all offering, counting and recording them in all necessary books.
• -       Attending to needs of congregation members during the event
• -       Taking attendance of the congregation in church events
• -       Assisting in checking and evaluating church inventory
• -       Waiting on the pastor and Ministers to meet official needs during and after events.
• -       Providing regular reports of activities of the Department to the pastorate.
